Welcome to the Training and Development Opportunity Hub!

This is a list of training and development opportunities at the national and statewide level that focus on perinatal mental health, maternal health and child health, early childhood, family supports and related fields.

To submit an event for consideration, please email HMHB@hmhb-mt.org with the following details: date, event website, location (in-person or other), event category (e.g., education, public health), number of CEUs available, and a logo if possible.

Current Self-Paced Learning Opportunities:

  • MOMS Simulation Leadership Academy (SLA): SLA is now offered virtually and asynchronously, so you can learn at your own pace. There is no cost to participate, and all clinical personnel who are interested in learning more about the science of simulation-based education in perinatal healthcare are encouraged to participate. More information and registration here.
  • Eat, Sleep, Console (ESC) Online Training Opportunity (accessible through August 2026): A self-paced ESC training program to support consistent care for infants with Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS). The course includes 7 modules covering ESC care principles, non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic therapy, and transition to home. If your facility is interested or has questions, please contact Pam Ponich at ponich@onechc.org

The Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance (MMHLA) also maintains a Perinatal Mental Health Training Database which includes additional national training opportunities to help current and aspiring health care professionals expand their knowledge about perinatal mental health conditions.
